Generic web hosts, WordPress hosting or managed hosting - what should you look out for? In our comprehensive WordPress hosting comparison, we have tips on important topics such as WordPress performance, security and support and show you what really matters when it comes to WordPress hosting!
WordPress hosting: 7 providers in comparison
For the comparison, we took a closer look at the following WordPress hosting providers:
- STRATO(parent company United Internet)
- 1&1(parent company United Internet)
- DomainFactory(parent company GoDaddy)
- Host Europe(parent company GoDaddy)
- webgo
- Alfahosting
- ALL-INKL
If you look at various hosting comparisons, the following criteria are often used for a comparison:
- Price
- Number of databases
- Number of e-mail inboxes
- Number of GB storage space
- PHP Memory Limit
These criteria can of course be wonderfully compared and displayed in a table. Many hosters take advantage of this and do not miss the opportunity to reduce the monthly basic fees with initial bait offers and set-up fees for automated processes. Offers with 100 GB and 1,000 e-mail inboxes and databases are not uncommon.
The bulk ends up with two groups
Sadly, the vast majority of small and medium-sized customers (SMEs) fall for this type of comparison, which is why WordPress hosting often begins with generic hosters such as STRATO or 1&1. These two brands of the United Internet group consequently host 60 percent of all WordPress websites.
The next largest American group is GoDaddy with the brands Host Europe, DomainFactory and ManageWP, with an estimated 30 percent market share. The remaining market is divided between smaller hosting providers.
Don't worry about storage space and databases
50 MB are required to install WordPress. Very often, 2 GB is completely sufficient for a WordPress installation. Even larger blogs, some with 1,500 articles, only require 1.5 GB. Only three percent of our customers require more than 5 GB of storage space.
WordPress itself has exactly one database! Only in exceptional cases may an additional database be required for another application independent of WordPress. And the same applies to email inboxes: as a rule, one person in the company does not have more than two email inboxes.
The number of databases, email inboxes and storage space is absolutely sufficient for all the offers we looked at. You can therefore remove these criteria from your comparison.
RAM and PHP memory limit as a useful criterion
Apart from the price, the only sensible criterion in my list above is actually the PHP memory limit. In any case, a PHP memory limit of 128 MB is required. For WooCommerce installations, it should be 256 MB. The PHP memory limit describes the maximum usable memory per request to the server. The more plugins and the more memory they use, the more the PHP memory limit needs to be adjusted upwards. But be careful: simply increasing the value is no guarantee of a stable website!
Useful criteria for a WordPress hoster comparison
From our point of view, a WordPress hosting comparison should be carried out based on the following aspects:
- Price
- Performance
- Time saving
- Security
- Support
Admittedly, these criteria are sometimes difficult to grasp. This is especially true for laypeople who "only" use WordPress and are not technicians. This is precisely why WordPress host comparisons only provide a subjective assessment of performance at best. Concrete performance measurements are unfortunately a rarity.
Criterion 1: WordPress hosting price
How hosting prices are calculated
Of course, price should play a role when choosing a hosting provider. However, in the hosting market, word has only gotten around among WordPress professionals as to how the price is determined in the first place.
The following calculation example illustrates the universal principle in hosting. It only requires the costs for a server, its CPU cores and the number of websites.
WordPress hosting example 1 - Low costs
- Costs for one server per month = 350 €
- Number of CPU cores on the server = 24
- Websites on the server = 500
- Cost per website: 350 € / 500 websites = 70 cents per website
- CPU power per website: 24 cores / 500 websites = 4.8% of a CPU core
Result: The hosting price is favorable. A margin of 10 percent is targeted in the hosting market. The net price for hosting would therefore be 7 euros. To bring it down to 3.50 euros, 500 more websites would have to be uploaded to the server.
WordPress hosting example 2 - Double the performance
- Costs for one server per month = 350 €
- Number of CPU cores on the server = 24
- Only half of the websites on the server = 250
- Costs per website: 350 € / 250 websites = 1.40 € per website
- CPU power per website: 24 cores / 250 websites = 9.6% of a CPU core
Result: The performance per website has doubled, but so have the costs. Conversely, costs can easily be halved. At the same time, however, performance is halved!
WordPress hosting example 3 - Unlimited websites
What does our example look like if customers can upload unlimited websites to their hosting? We assume that, on average, "only" two websites are operated on one hosting package.
- Costs for one server per month = 350 €
- Number of CPU cores on the server = 24
- Twice as many websites on the server = 1,000
- Cost per package: 350 € / 1000 websites = 35 cents per package
- CPU power per website: 24 cores / 1,000 websites = 2.4% of a CPU core
Result: Each website has only half the CPU power, which was already low.
WordPress hosting example 4 - Maximum performance
- Costs for one server per month = 350 €
- Number of CPU cores on the server = 24
- Websites on the server = 72
- Cost per package: 350 € / 72 websites = 4.90 € per package
- CPU power per website: 24 cores / 72 websites = 33% of a CPU core
Result: Each website has almost seven times as much processing power available compared to the low-cost example 1!
"In the end, the performance of a dynamic page depends on how much CPU and RAM it has available."
Only very few WordPress hosting providers are transparent
This universal principle is also the reason why Raidboxes is still significantly faster than 1&1, although certain elements, such as NGINX instead of Apache Server, have already been copied.
With Raidboxes, you have the guaranteed resources of a CPU core and 2 GB of RAM from the Starter plan onwards. This is one of the reasons why WordPress professionals believe that the offer is cheap and fair. Hosting amateurs often do not understand this, as they cannot assess the performance offered.
Praise for ALL-INKL
According to our research, there is only one provider in Germany that communicates this transparently: ALL-INKL. In the smallest package, you start with 99 other customers on one server - in the largest package with 29 other customers.
As customers can run up to 100 websites on one package, the exact relationship between server capacity and websites is still unclear. Nevertheless, other hosters can take this as an example, as the distribution is not mentioned by any other provider. Not infrequently, even the working memory is completely concealed.
What is the right price for my WordPress hosting?
In principle, there is no general answer to this question. In America, for example, the average price for WordPress hosting is $30 (net) per month. Germans in particular are rather price-sensitive here.
This is precisely why the general provider motto is: "Better to have many websites on one server at a lower price." Prices therefore generally start at 3 euros (net).
300 € for a WordPress hosting provider - How can that be?
So how can it be that many companies also pay €300 (net) for a single WordPress website? This has to do with the business value of a website, for example. A large WooCommerce store with 100 orders per hour wants the maximum power, as ten fewer orders per hour can also mean a good €300 less net sales per hour(!).
Conversely, friends and acquaintances on a private travel blog will forgive it if the photos take almost 10 seconds to load when called up. Performance plays a rather subordinate role here, as this is not associated with economic loss.
What is the most important marketing channel worth to a company?
Small and medium-sized companies in particular should be aware that their website is the most important marketing channel of our time. Just one less inquiry per year due to long loading times can mean a loss of several hundred euros for you as an entrepreneur.
Saving 20 euros per month for cheaper hosting alone is almost entrepreneurially negligent. Especially if you have previously invested at least 2,000 euros in the development or redesign of your website.
Our price recommendation for your WordPress hosting
In our opinion, it makes sense to estimate the following net prices for hosting your WordPress website:
- 5 - 10 € for private websites, depending on your own quality requirements
- 15 - 30 € for a standard company website or blog
- 15 - 50 € for a small to medium-sized WooCommerce store
- From €50 for a larger website, blog or WooCommerce store
- From €50 for a large multisite website, blog, WooCommerce store
You can find detailed information for store operators in our blog article about WooCommerce hosting. All our articles on WooCommerce can be found here.
This price recommendation is not only based on the processor power, but also on the support, which I will show later.
With most WordPress hosting providers, an "optimized" WordPress plan costs no more than 20 euros. If you want more performance, you'll have to go for a vServer Cloud offer or dedicated servers.
Criterion 2: WordPress performance
As mentioned above, reasons for fast loading times are easy to identify. You are most likely losing sales if your website is too slow. Not only does it give a bad first impression of your business, but it's also one of the ranking factors for Google.
Two seconds loading time instead of Google PageSpeed Score
Don't let the Google PageSpeed Insights score drive you crazy. You should only use this to uncover optimization potential. It is much more important to check and optimize the actual loading time of your website. In principle, you should aim for a loading time of two seconds - less is better, of course.
TTFB as a criterion for a performance comparison
For the performance evaluation of hosting, the so-called Time To First Byte (TTFB) is one of the best evaluation criteria. Here, the time is measured in milliseconds from the first request from the user to the first response from the server. Other important factors, such as the programming of the theme, are ignored for the time being.
Important: The number, quality and size of your plugins can also drive up the TTFB. Therefore, if you run the same website on two servers, the TTFB is significant for the server.
The user is interested in the total loading time
Although the TTFB is meaningful for the server, in the end it is of little interest to people. They are interested in when they can interact with the website or when they see something from the page. In the best case scenario, the content of your website is displayed in full in less than a second.
There are two values that are important here:
- Loading time - First View: This shows you the loading time of visitors who are visiting your website for the first time.
- Loading time - Repeat View: This shows you the loading time of visitors who visit your site for the second time.
The values differ significantly, as browsers, servers or plugins can cache your website. The pages accessed are then loaded directly from the cache and no longer from the server itself.

How to measure the charging time correctly
The process is the same for every WordPress hosting provider. Some WordPress hosters make the migration easier for you, which makes this process somewhat simpler.
- Move the website yourself with a plugin or manually. We recommend Migrate Guru here. There you can migrate your website with SFTP to any host.
- Measure current website and note values
- Website completely moved with domain, probably with a slightly longer downtime
- Test new website
- Reverse everything if you are not satisfied and ask for your money back. Fortunately, every hosting provider offers a money-back guarantee.
Because this process is so difficult, no "mass hoster" is afraid to loudly describe their hosting as fast and secure. We are convinced that when it comes to performance, only the real values should count, not claims. Unfortunately, you can only get these by measuring and comparing properly, which is quite time-consuming depending on the number of providers tested.
"The best performance comparison is to try out the new hosting provider yourself."
Performance test at Raidboxes
We make this process easier for you with our free migration service and a free, no-obligation test phase. If you want to know how much faster your website can become, please contact our support team at any time.
You can simply enter the following in our relocation form: "Please compare performance". We will then do the rest for you and give you your evaluation after the move.
Special: Performance comparison of the best WordPress hosters from over 250 speed tests
We wouldn't confidently call Raidboxes the fastest WordPress host in Germany if we hadn't measured it ourselves.
Our approach to comparing the performance of different WordPress hosting providers
In total, we made a before and after comparison of over 250 moves, exactly as described above. We used the Document Complete time of the First View for the comparison.
The results show you what you can expect from moving to a specialized WordPress host. They are a cross-section of the following elements:
- Different packages
- Different websites
- Different number of removals per provider
Another approach would be to install different website types on all provider sites, in different price packages and measure them at different times, which would be very time-consuming. You can find a very detailed performance test of various WordPress hosters (including Raidboxes) in the WordPress Hosting Performance Benchmark from Review Signal. Want to test for yourself how many percent faster your website could be? Then use our WordPress speed test.
WordPress hosting performance comparison - Website speed tests
Tested web hosters with WordPress offer | Number of performance measurements | Average performance improvement | Highest performance improvement | Lowest performance improvement |
STRATO | 37 | 124% | 1764% | 0% |
1&1 | 32 | 50% | 482% | 0% |
DomainFactory | 23 | 66% | 234% | 8% |
Host Europe | 14 | 46% | 161% | 2% |
webgo | 4 | 42% | 81% | 5% |
ALL-INKL | 23 | 35% | 337% | -4% |
Mittwald | 6 | 31% | 104% | 15% |
United Domains | 7 | 78% | 189% | 25% |
Cloudflare | 8 | 33% | 135% | 2% |
Other | 84 | 74% | 963% | -1% |
Interpretation of the results
100% performance improvement = halving of the loading time for raidboxes
For a website that loads in 10 seconds before and 5 seconds after the move, the speed improvement is 100 percent. The results of the larger hosters are the most meaningful, as the number of moves is the largest in comparison.
Minimum and maximum values are also shown in the diagram. What the values here make clear is that an improvement in performance always has to do with the website itself. For certain websites, a server change is helpful, but there may also be cases where the performance improvement is rather small.
Although the TTFB is often three times as good, the better server does not have the same effect on the overall speed. In such a case, the only thing that helps is to take care of website optimization. You have at least ruled out the possibility that the cause of the performance problem is a slow server. Therefore, the statement remains:
"The best performance comparison is to try out the new provider yourself."
Case studies of happy customers help with the choice of hosting provider
Fortunately, in times of social media, hosting providers that can keep their promises are becoming increasingly popular. So here are a few examples of customers who have made and published a performance comparison during their moves. Many happy customers recommend Raidboxes out of conviction and participate in our affiliate program to receive commissions for their recommendations.
- STRATO vs. Raidboxes: 4 seconds faster and page speed of 100
- ALL-INKL vs. Raidboxes: Twice as fast
- WP Engine vs. Raidboxes: equally fast at half the price
- united-domains vs. raidboxes: Twice as fast, despite an already optimized site
- Raidboxes under 500 milliseconds: 500 ms for complex landing page content
The following providers have also recently seen performance improvements with at least a doubling of the loading time: Host Europe, DomainFactory, Siteground, 1&1 and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
As the WP Engine example shows, the performance of WordPress specialists is very similar in comparison. As Michelle from HootProof describes it nicely, you can focus on other comparison features here.
WordPress hosting comparison - Ongoing optimization
The Internet is extremely fast-moving. New technologies are constantly being developed, some of which make the internet drastically faster. In recent years, technical advances such as PHP 8, HTTP2, Brotli or GZIP compression or newer processors have expanded the possibilities for performance optimization.
These technologies are often accompanied by a 10 to 30 percent improvement in performance, sometimes even a doubling of performance!
There are 1.5 years of technology differences between hosting providers
It is important to have a provider that evaluates all technologies and integrates them into its systems in order to benefit from technological developments in the long term. Basically, these technological innovations will eventually become established in the entire market. The only question is whether the hoster is proactive or a latecomer. This often results in a time difference of 1.5 years.
In our comparison of the various providers, it is noticeable that 1&1, Timme Hosting and Host Europe are the only providers that rely on the faster NGINX server. Brotli compression in particular has not yet been explicitly implemented by any provider.
"A world first!" - SSD hard disks
The best example of this is SSD hard disks. These are now standard and have been used in raidboxes since the beginning. There are still numerous providers today who advertise this as a new and innovative feature.
Criterion 3: Saving time with WordPress hosting
This criterion is also not listed in any hosting comparison. In fact, it is even more difficult to measure than the "performance" criterion. Yet it is quite simple:
One hour of time saved on website management
Means for the self-employed:
- 1 hour more free time, for example with the children, hobbies etc.
- 1 hour gained to take care of the actual business
This means less capacity utilization for companies:
- 1 hour of time corresponds to at least € 30 in direct labor costs that are saved
This means for well-utilized service companies:
- 1 hour of time usually corresponds to at least 60 € hourly wage, which cannot be billed
At Raidboxes, we have some customers who host over 150 websites with us and even save on a system administrator for €5,000 per month.
Time is very often neglected in the considerations and only included once you have had a year of "time expenditure" behind you. This time expenditure becomes particularly clear if you work as a web designer or developer with a root server and also have to carry out system updates. Managed WordPress hosting and corresponding features can therefore be a great relief here.
Hosting comparison - provider features that save time
Here are a few features that save time when managing the website. The time estimate depends on the experience level of the respective user. Depending on the use case, inexperienced users may first have to try out three plugins, test them for a while and replace them until the solution is really one hundred percent reliable and efficient.
Website removal: 0.75 - 6 hours.
If a hosting provider change is pending, this is the initial time expenditure that arises. For web designers and agencies, copying and importing into a development environment is often standard.
Estimated time saving: Very few providers take this amount of time. Depending on the website, it can take as little as three quarters of an hour for known relocation processes. However, it is also not uncommon for a move to take six hours in the event of technical problems.
Backups: 0.5 - 4 hours per website
This feature may as well be under security, as it is one of the most important features here. One thing is clear: no WordPress website should be hosted without backups. This can be done via the hosting provider or via a plugin. We explain the advantages of a backup system with the hosting provider here.
Important: A backup should not only back up the database, but the entire website! At the same time, it is important that the backups can be restored via the user interface itself.
While three quarters of providers state that they make backups, it is unclear how long these are kept and how they can be restored. With Mittwald, for example, this is subject to a charge of €50.
Estimated time saving: The number of hours saved depends on whether users know and can set up backup systems and whether problems occur over time.
Integrated caching: 0.5 - 4 hours per website
This feature is essential when it comes to optimizing the loading speed of your website. If you don't use caching, you may miss out on halving the loading time. There are a variety of plugins that can be used here. However, depending on the plugin, these must also be purchased and then maintained.
WordPress specialists therefore already have caching integrated. No more plugins need to be installed and configured. All parameters are already adapted to WordPress or WooCommerce and are continuously maintained and reconfigured.
Estimated time saving: The number of hours saved depends on whether users know and can set up caching systems and whether problems occur over time.
Managed WordPress security updates: 1 - 4 hours per website and year
WordPress releases security updates at very regular intervals. A distinction is made between minor updates and major updates.
Minor updates are "small updates" that are nevertheless very important, as they often close security gaps or fix small bugs. This refers, for example, to a version jump from 5.3.1 to 5.3.2.
The major updates can cause more problems under certain circumstances. In this case, plugin manufacturers must adapt their plugins and at least test them with the new version. This refers, for example, to a version jump from WordPress 5.5. to WordPress 5.6.
For this reason, it is advisable to wait a little for the major updates. The next minor update, for example 5.6.1, is often released shortly after a major version jump and already contains the fix for a security vulnerability that occurred with the major release.
Estimated time savings: Performing security updates is a must. While minor releases can be done quickly, possibly four times a year, major releases require more attention and time. These occur approximately once or twice a year.
Managed plugin updates: 2 - 8 hours per website and year
One of the most common security vulnerabilities when using WordPress are plugins that have not been updated. A WordPress website can have between 5 and 120 plugins installed. An estimated average from thousands of websites is 25 plugins. What applies to the security updates of WordPress itself is also relevant for the plugins. Plugin manufacturers also close frequently occurring security gaps or continuously improve their product.
Not every plugin update closes a security gap. In general, however, plugins should be kept up to date. The best way to do this is with the following process:
- Check plugins for updates
- Create backup
- Update plugins
- Check website
- Import backup in case of problems
In our Fully Managed plan, this happens fully automatically for all 55,000 plugins, provided a license code is stored. Basically, integrated plugin management, where all plugins can be updated with two clicks, saves a lot of time. Especially if backups have already been made automatically every night.
Estimated time saving: Those who want to take the risk of malware do not update their plugins and do not have to spend any time. For everyone else, it depends on the type of plugin and the number of plugins.
Staging for changes to plugins & themes: 0.5 - 3 hours per action
Anyone who seriously uses their website for their marketing purposes or business activities often makes changes. This could be a new landing page tool, a new event plugin or the replacement of a slider plugin. In order not to jeopardize the live website and not to present visitors with a faulty slider, changes should first be tested in a development environment.
To do this, you copy the website to another hosting, make your changes and then try to transfer the changes to the main site without complications. As this is a very complex process, there is no getting around the use of special plugins. WordPress hosting specialists offer a staging environment in this context.
Estimated time saving: This depends on how intensively you work with your website. The time saving can amount to a good three hours with a significantly lower risk of destroying something on the live site.
SSL setup: 0.4 - 3 hours per website
To say it up front: Domain-validated SSL certificates should no longer cost anything today! With the Let's Encrypt initiative, global players such as Google have rightly proclaimed the age of the encrypted Internet.
Meanwhile, Google Chrome not only marks websites with SSL as green with "Secure", but now takes the next step of marking websites that do not use SSL as "Not secure"
SSL should therefore not only be included free of charge in the hosting, but should also be quick to set up. With WordPress, not only must SSL be installed on the server, but internal forwarding and a search and replace must also be carried out on the website in order to actually set up SSL in full. With Raidboxes, this is fully automated with just one click.
Estimated time saving: Professionals can set up SSL within 20 minutes as they practically know the process by heart. For beginners, it can certainly take three hours on their own until SSL is finally implemented on the website.
Criterion 4: Security for WordPress hosting
Of course, every provider claims to be secure. But WordPress security is not just about rolling out the latest system updates for the server. This should be a matter of course in this day and age. It's about knowing the software itself practically by heart and preventing malware from penetrating WordPress itself. Some security features are presented below:
Security with 1-click installations
WordPress itself now ensures that users assign strong passwords. This is also absolutely necessary. Passwords that are too simple are a very negligent security vulnerability. Even if the password area is protected by IP blocking, attackers can penetrate the website with passwords that are too simple.
You should pay attention to these two things with the providers' 1-click installations:
- Is the latest WordPress version always installed automatically?
- Is a secure password enforced?
Point 2 significantly reduced our malware rate when we realized that users often use passwords that are too simple.
Security of the login area
The login area of WordPress is fundamentally sensitive. Attackers know that they can try to log in via "your-domain.com/wp-admin". This is not done manually, but via so-called brute force attacks, which automatically try out different passwords.
It is therefore important that the login area is secured by default. With Raidboxes, you can easily set the number of login attempts yourself with the "RB Login Protector". This prevents attackers from trying out hundreds of passwords in the first place. In combination with a strong password, this leads to almost 100% security of the login area.
Security of the XML-RPC interface
The XML-RPC is an interface that allows you to control your WordPress website remotely. It is therefore often used by hackers and bots as a gateway. With Raidboxes, this interface is now blocked by default. However, it can also be enabled again with a single click if required. In any case, protecting the interface prevents intrusion via this route.
Security through protected WP-Config file
If a hacker does gain access to your website, they can cause the most damage in the WP-Config file. This is the basic configuration of your WordPress website. It is therefore write-protected by default. Additional entries or changes to the table prefix can be made via the Raidboxes dashboard itself. This makes it almost impossible for an attacker to completely paralyze your website.
Fast or automated plugin update
Plugins that are not up to date are another security vulnerability. Ideally, the hosting provider should update the plugins automatically or at least provide the option (as described in the time-saving section) to simply update all plugins within two minutes.
Backup system
The backup system is absolutely central to any security effort. The first step with malware is to import a backup. Here it is important to have backups that not only cover the last three days, but can also go back 30 days at best.
Help with malware as a security measure
Important to know: If all of the above measures are used, this corresponds to a very high level of protection for your WordPress website. However, if the website has caught malware, it is important that it is removed professionally. Even established tools such as Sucuri or SiteLock sometimes reach their limits here. Ideally, the host itself offers a service to remove the malware without leaving any residue.
Criterion 5: Support from the WordPress hosting provider
Last but not least, let's take a look at WordPress hosting support. Here, too, we find that it is often difficult for users to evaluate this in advance. One option is, of course, to look at customer reviews in advance - for example, on Trusted Shops. As with the previous areas of hosting, it's best to test the support yourself! This is because the needs and requirements for customer support can vary greatly depending on the expertise or user group. We therefore recommend WordPress hosting providers where you can test the hosting, including all features and support, free of charge.
Response times under 10 minutes & high availability
In fact, Raidboxes customer support is one of the main reasons why we are recommended so often. Internally, we have set a maximum response time of 10 minutes for a support request. This is our standard, which we have maintained since the beginning, constantly evaluate via our support tool and always follow up on. We won't be dealing with any slow support tickets with long response times, as we have successfully relied on live support from the very beginning!
"In our opinion, support should always be accessible, direct and personal. This type of support allows us to find out first-hand where we need to start with our product to make it better."
Technical expertise in support
In at least 80 percent of cases where a website is unavailable, the problem is not the server, but a WordPress plugin. It is fatal if support staff have no WordPress experience, do not know the relevant tools (such as the WP debug mode) and, in the worst case, cannot deactivate a defective plugin at all. The result would be the website being unavailable for several days, even though the server is running all the time.
With hosters who specialize in WordPress, you can be sure that WordPress expertise is available and that a website can also be viewed at the WordPress code level.
Support has its price
Even if a company only pays its support staff the minimum wage, which is not necessarily unlikely, the total cost with all social security contributions is at least 15 euros per hour. A web developer with WordPress experience costs the company at least 35 euros per hour.
With a 3-euro WordPress tariff and an annual price of 36 euros, the cheapest support employee may therefore spend a maximum of two hours per customer, and the most expensive support employee a maximum of one hour per year. However, the entire annual profit would then be lost and the customers would be unprofitable.
Here it is absolutely logical that any customer inquiries are reduced to a minimum. This is one of the reasons why we come to our price recommendation of €9 (net) per website. Prices below this automatically mean that support quality and product quality suffer.
Our conclusion on the WordPress hosting provider comparison
We hope that you have not been overwhelmed by our WordPress hosting comparison and that you now feel better able to judge WordPress hosting.
ALL-INKL, when it comes to price: If you really want to go for the price and do a lot yourself, we recommend ALL-INKL They are the only WordPress hosting provider that shows transparency in an important performance criterion instead of making big claims. This, combined with good telephone support, should be rewarded.
Specialized hosting when quality and time are important
I hope we were able to show you that specialized WordPress hosting providers (such as Raidboxes) offer clear advantages when it comes to optimizing performance, time and security. Of course, they are more expensive than the standard WordPress hosting providers. But you also save a lot of time and can invest more work in your business instead of maintaining and managing your websites.
Hello Stefan,
Thank you for your comment and your thoughts on the subject.
We are very sorry that you are unhappy with the performance of your website. However, the loading speed of a website is influenced by a variety of factors - not just the hosting. These include the size and number of files (e.g. images, JavaScript and CSS files, HTTP requests), the choice of theme, the complexity of the website, image optimization, server speed, location and load, caching and, last but not least, the users' network connections.
Without having seen your site in detail, we can unfortunately only assume what the cause of the performance problems might be. If you are a Raidboxes customer, you are welcome to contact our support team or a contact person from the Customer Success Team via the chat https://calendly.com/raidboxes-sales/customer-success-beratung. We will then take a look at your box together.
We would love to help you be completely satisfied with the performance of your website and realize the full potential of Raidboxes 2.0.
Best regards,
Linda
Hello Johann,
Thanks for your tip! Unfortunately, we can't include all providers, but perhaps in the next update.
