The first of September 2023 was something special for us at Raidboxes: our first Partner Day took place! With networking, inspiring presentations and Q&A sessions, there was a mix that made the day a success. In this article you will find our personal review of this day.
The Partner Day schedule
Around 80 participants from all over the DACH region made their way to Münster. Raidboxers from all eight districts were also represented. This day was not only about pure business relationships, but also about strengthening ties with our partners, sharing knowledge and building networks with each other.
Our check-in began at midday. During this time, we had the opportunity to share our first experiences over cold drinks and snacks. The magician Stephan Lammen from Münster also provided magical moments as a walking act and enchanted his audience right from the start. He lightened the mood and made it easier to start conversations.
The agenda for the day was filled with exciting program items. So everyone had the opportunity to get their money's worth. From exclusive insights into Raidboxes to Q&A sessions with our partners and experts, there was plenty of variety and exciting discussions. Here is a brief overview of the topics discussed:
- "Raidboxes 2.0: The future of our Managed WordPress Hosting - Discover the combined power of team.blue!" - Torben Simon Meier and Johannes Benz
- "The new infrastructure: flexible options for your website projects of today and tomorrow!" Thomas Goik
- "Dashboard Rebuild: The future of usability - introduction, updates and exclusive outlook!" René Bähr and Jeffrey Eul
Exclusive insights into Raidboxes
After the welcome by our Sales Lead Marcel, our Partner Manager Lisa led us through the various program points of the day. There was a first insight into the future of Raidboxes and an explanation of the cooperation with team.blue. In addition, our Managing Directors Torben and Johannes talked about successes and failures and explained the founding history of Raidboxes.
In keeping with the theme of looking to the future, there were then two presentations from our company's technical department. Our CTO Thomas gave a presentation on the changes to the technical infrastructure. Jeffrey and René from our technical department then gave an exclusive insight into the new dashboard and its many future possibilities and user-friendliness.
Q&A sessions with Raidboxes & partners
After the technical presentations from our team, the Question & Answer sessions began after a refreshment break. The first session gave deep insights into our vision, how working with us as a remote-first company works and how Raidboxes will develop in the coming years. Our General Circle answered all the questions that our partners had.
We also had the honor of welcoming a number of participants from our partner companies to the Q&A Talks panel.
The following people were available to answer questions:
Katja Beer - Head of Business Unit Website & Listings at 11880
Daniel Bruckhaus - Managing Director of optimerch
Nico Günzel - Agency management of fuxteufelsweb
Julian Post - Technical SEO Consultant at Contunda
There were exciting insights and experiences into the partners' work processes. On top of that, they shared their perspectives on topics such as useful WordPress plugins, experiences with WordPress page builders and website maintenance.
Both rounds of questions opened up the space for interactive discussions. After a hesitant start, more and more questions came from the audience.
Due to the large number of questions afterwards, not all of them could be answered immediately. After the sessions, however, there was the opportunity to delve deeper in the deep dives.
Our Deep Dive area was the ideal place to exchange ideas directly. Colleagues from Support and Engineering were available in this room. There was the opportunity to ask any questions and make comments about the new dashboard and its functions.
At the same time, there was another opportunity for networking in the lobby and in the outdoor area. There, everyone had the opportunity to get rid of any remaining questions in a personal conversation. There was also an opportunity to talk shop and exchange tips on automation in the agency business.
Dinner, networking and after party
An exciting day with many interesting conversations and new insights progressed. After a delicious buffet dinner, the after-party got underway. There you could dance to the beats of DJ Marc Hälker.
It was not only between Raidboxes and partners that connections were made at this time. There was also an eager exchange between the participants. Successes and defeats were shared and visions for the future were discussed.

A final word on Partner Day
The Partner Day was also something very special for me as one of the new employees at Raidboxes. I was able to have interesting conversations and network. On top of that, I got to meet really exciting people and experience first-hand what we work so hard for every day. Of course, an event like this is also particularly good for team spirit. I'm sure that everyone else took away a lot of energy just like me.
The Raidboxes Partner Day was a complete success for us. Thanks to our team who gave their all to make this day a complete success and to all our partners for the open and very productive exchange. This also allowed us to successfully incorporate feedback on our new partner program, which will go live soon!
After the first Partner Day is before the next event. We look forward to meeting you live at WordCamp Gerolstein from October 20 to 21, 2023.
