Early WordPress update due to security vulnerability
The WordPress core team published the WordPress 4.9.7 security and maintenance release at short notice on July 5. The update closes a vulnerability that users (with at least author rights) could exploit to delete arbitrary files. The original 4.9.7 release, which was planned for the end of July, will now be version 4.9.8.
